Ganymede is the nicest person you will ever meet. He perpetually has a smile on his face, even when he's relaxed, even if it's just one little corner curled up; he doesn't have to think about it to be happy. He doesn't seem to struggle with anything; he cares deeply for every single thing he encounters, no matter what it or they are. He's the sort to take care on a walk not to step on plants, especially little or sick ones. He always seems to have some critter under his wing, something he's nursing back from health that fell from a nest or lost it's mother or any of the above. Ganymede sings a lot, especially when he's doing something else and his mind is occupied. He knows a great number of songs thanks to his mother and some poetry too. He believes in the inherent goodness of the world and of everyone he meets. He thinks is bad things are happening to him it is only to prepare him for something later in life, or to make the good things coming up all that much sweeter.
He's very curious and loves to learn, namely songs and poems. Ganymede has a sharp mind and he can memorize things very quickly. He has an inordinate amount of trivial knowledge just because once he learns something it's difficult for him to forget it. He's incredibly good at recognizing wild birds because he had a phase once when he was little and he still remembers all their names and markers. He becomes friends with people very easily because he is simply so sweet and kind; it's difficult to dislike him. Ganymede changes as best he can to fit someone's mood, so he's more mellow if someone is having a bad day, and more physically comforting if that's what they need from him. He's very intuitive about how someone is feeling and reacts to that. Ganymede almost always has someone for company because he is relaxing to be around, but unfortunately he does greatly dislike being alone. It's the one thing that can make him anxious, as he grew up with his mother constantly by his side.

human form.
The first thing people tend to notice about Ganymede is his looks. He's very beautiful, almost alarmingly so; he's got long white hair that edges into lilacs, and darker eyebrows that stand out above his bright purple eyes. He's thin and very fine-boned so he looks like a strong breeze could knock him over. He's of medium height. He likes to wear pretty things, which he classifies as clothes that sparkle or fit him well. He never grows a beard and his skin is so pale that he will burn if the sun so much as peeks at him.
